1956 Packard Caribbean - One year only coupe (abgebrochene Restauration - vieles neu)
Top edler und seltener Luxusschlitten der Superlative in seltener und schöner 3 Farben-Kombination
Eintausch auch möglich! Aufgrund weiterer Projekte muss ich mich davon trennen.
Selbst in den USA kaum zu finden und wenn, dann werden diese bald einmal mit über 100.000 gehandelt!
1956 war das einzige Jahr, indem es ein Coupe gab. Nur 263 wurden gebaut. (siehe ua. Wikipedia)
Der Wahrscheinlichkeit nach sind keine 20 Stück mehr existent, weil die Coupés für Cabrios ausgeschlachtet wurden.
Dies waren sehr hochwertig und voll ausgestattet Fahrzeuge der Luxusklasse (welche nicht um sonst im Besitz von Prominenten - Schauspielern und Politikern waren).
Höherwertiger als Cadillac?
Packard war in diesem Jahr Anbieter der technisch anspruchsvollsten und innovativsten US-Fahrzeuge und der Caribbean deren Krönung.
Packard führte als erster Hersteller überhaupt in diesem Jahr eine Hinterachse mit Differentialsperre ein.
Ausstattungsmerkmale:
-Drucktastenautomatik,
-Ansaugspinne für 2 Vierfachvergaser,
-elektrisch verstellbares Fahrwerk,
-angeblich eines der komfortabelsten Fahrwerke die je gebaut wurde,
-elektrische Fenster, Sitzbank,
-2 elektrische Antennen
-wendbare Sitzauflagen (Leder/Stoff) = einzigartig wie bei Booten,
-usw..
Zuletzt habe ich den Teppich neu gekauft.
Außerdem wüßte ich sogar einen Packard 400 Coupe (nächstes Modell in der Produktpalette) als Teileträger

Leider sind im Laufe der Zeit sämtliche Teile verloren gegangen, somit ist das Fahrzeug nur zu ca. 90% vollständig und der Lack ist schlecht? daher ist eine Besichtigung erforderlich! Ausserdem möchte ich Bekanntgeben, dass sämtliche Motoranbauteile (Vergaser, Luftfilter, usw.) fehlen - Ich selbst habe das Fahrzeug so erhalten. Die Technik sowie Ersatzteile sind identisch mit anderen Modellen von Packard. (Ausser Zierleisten und Innenausstattung)
Eine der flachen Glasscheiben ist zerbrochen - kann man aber problemlos anfertigen (kann mich aber auch darum kümmern) lassen.
Es ist ein US-Title vorhanden!

Even in the USA hard to find and when they do, they will be traded at over 100,000!
1956 was the only year in which there was a coupe built. Only 263 were built. (-see among others Wikipedia)
Probably there are less then 20 existing because the coupés were parted out for the convertibles.
These were very high quality and fully equipped luxury class vehicles (not for nothing else driven by famous celebrity actors and politicians). Better than Cadillac?
This year, Packard was the provider of the most technically sophisticated and innovative US vehicles and the Caribbean was their hi-class. Packard was the first manufacturer to introduce a limited slip axle in this year.
Equipment features a lot of options:
-pushbutton automatic transmission
-intake manifold for two 4barrel carburetors
-electrically adjustable suspension (allegedly one of the most comfortable suspensions ever built)
-power windows, bench,
-2 power antennas
-reversible seat pads (cloth /leather) = unique like in a boat,

The last time I bought a new carpet. I also know about a Packard 400 for sale (next model in the product range) as a parts carrier

Unfortunately, some parts have been lost in the course of time, so the Packard should be about 90% complete - therefore an inspection is required! New paintjob needed!
I would also like to announce that some engine components (carburetor, air cleaner,...) are missing - I received the vehicle like it is in this condition.
The spare parts and technic are identical to other Packard models. (Except moldings and interior)
One of the flat glass is broken - but it can be redone without any problems (I can also get it fixed).
The car has an US title!
